Voilà ma review myspace, elle est en anglais
hésitez pas à me dire si j'ai mis des conneries !!!
Hey !
Well, many of you guys already know that cuz i didn't stop chatting about that this week (it's not my fault : i really CAN'T stop cuz it was SO cool!!!), but here is the "FETE DE L'HUMA" review , only for you my friends ^^
During the afternoon, i hang out in the Courneuve with friends (Maeva, Schehrazade, Chloé, Loïc, Noëlle, Paul, Steven...)and we saw the Mickey 3D concert and a lil bit of the Déportivo one. It was nice, but the crowd didn't seem very exited : not loads of crowd surfing and pogo as i expected...
Then, we all came to "la grande scène" (litterally "the big stage") like more than a hour before the Offspring show cuz we wanted good places. A band was playing, Archive, it was beatiful, very calm........... but not as cool as The Offspring.
It began at 9:40 pm, we were on the first third of the crowd, and during the first songs, Schehrazade and i came closer to the stage jumping and left the others behind. In fact, Schehrazade was a little worry cuz i had some asthma problems, so she stayed all the show with me in case of and it was really kind to her, so thx Schehra ^^ But nothing bad happened (cool !).
The crowd was really hot this time, loads of slam, crowd surfing, pogos... it was a blast. There was heat waves, it fell like in an oven, really, i think it was about 60°C...
Like i'm not really tall, i had to jump non-stop in order to see the stage and the screen. So i spent the whole show jumping up an up and down, and i did a little pogos it was fun.
At the very beginning, all was in the shadow, and like it was the night, we didn't saw anything, but light flashes, then the drummer came, and he played well during the intro, it was impressing cuz he lifted his arms up playing. Ans then Dexter came on the stage, closely followed by Noodles and the bass player. And then it was the show, thay played nearly without any pause between the songs.
Well there's nearly nothing much to say... I made up a song list, but it's not in the right order, it's only to give you an idea of the show (which lasted 1 hour, not less not more) :
the intro (i can't remember the name)
Pretty Fly For a White Guy
Bad Habit
The Kids Aren't Alright
Self Esteem
Hit That
Come Out & Play
What Happened to You?
Feelings
Can't Repeat
Gotta Get Away
Americana
and Why Don't You Get a Job
i maybe have forgotten some songs...
Weel, i hope you enjoyed the review, i really try to make it right
